I downloaded Windows 10 when it first came out, tried it for a while, didn’t like it, and had the misfortune not to be able to go back to Windows 7 because I had waited for too long. Now I’ve been having lots of troubles with the OS. I’ve scanned for viruses and malware, reinstalled the entire OS, cleaned the dust out of my computer, and I’m still experiencing the same problems. Programs not responding, the screen locking up, being unable to restart or shut down my computer except by doing a hard shutdown (that is, manually).
Is this because Windows 10 is inherently unstable or is my hard drive dying? I have no idea! I hope I will be able to continue working on this blog and sharing my art, writing, thoughts, and videos with you, but I am unsure how long this will last.
Since I ‘m poor, I doubt I’ll be able to get a new hard drive for months to come. I haven’t even been able to afford a cheap haircut lately with other expenses (such as keeping a couple of guinea pigs alive and buying my own books to distribute to libraries and bookstores), so . . . not too optimistic at this time. Hopefully, my computer will start to behave itself. If not, you’ll know why I haven’t posted for a while.
